A friend suggested I should have a webpage askCharlie.com since it seemed I might have an answer. Or not, but I am inquisitive enough to search it out - even before there was a google or a yahoo or a www. So ask me a question or give me an answer ... Mostly these are my travel photos (and maybe some comments) I have additional pages for trips outside California. Use the tabs next to HOME to view.

New Years Eve, I was driving home on CA-99 & as I approached Bakersfield the traffic increased, so anticipating a lot of pre Rose Parade / Bowl tourists when I hit the 210 through Pasadena & ignoring the GPS scolding, I turned off on CA-58 & headed off towards the I-15. My reasoning was traffic would be less on I-15 with travelers wanting to stay in Las Vegas for the New Year's Eve celebration. What a nice surprise Tehachapi was!! Cool but beautiful sky & a slight dusting of snow. GPS calmed down once I clued her in on the "recalculating".
